Seat: 1 A Pro: These "BIG FRONT SEATS" in row one are essentially similar to domestic first class seats, note that Spirit charges extra for these seats depending on the length of the flight. There is only two of these seats on each side of the aisle, so no middle seat. No one reclining into you, and you will be the first off the plane. Legroom is not bad, and there is reportedly a bit space at the edge of the bulkhead that allows the window passenger to stretch their outside leg a little more. Con: Trays are in arm-rest as most domestic first class seats, but since the seat is quite wide, it does not affect the comfort of the seat. Note that since these seats are not considered to be a separate class by Spirit Airlines, that means everyone in the plane are allowed to use the lavatory ahead of the door in front of you, that means there might be a queue by your area, making it difficult for you to use the lavatory. With the bulkhead in front of you seat, there is no underseat storage in front of you, making it worse is that the overhead bins are often used by equipment, so you might have to stow your belongings several rows back. Note that there is no curtain or bulkhead separating your row from the rest of the plane.

Con: Trays are in arm-rest as most domestic first class seats, but since the seat is quite wide, it does not affect the comfort of the seat. Note that there is no curtain or bulkhead separating your row from the rest of the plane.

This is the newest plane type in Spirit's fleet, and immediately acquired a notorious reputation for offering the least amount of space between rows for legroom amongst all US carriers.
According to Spirit Airlines, the seats are Pre-reclined, and there are no adjustment mechanism, making the seats lighter and allowing the airline to pack in even more seats. In the same space that most airlines fit in 144-150 seats, Spirit manages to squeeze in almost 30 more seats!
