Asiana Boeing 747-400 International Business Class, Page 1 of 4.
| For one of our trips back to the US from Asia, we decided to take Asiana in Business Class from Seoul to Los Angeles. |
| Our flight today is operated by this Boeing 747-400 combi version. Notice the large raised hinged cargo door just in front of the tail. |
| Two boarding jetways are used, First and Business class to one side, and Economy Class to the other. |
| The Economy class queue was orderly, even though all passengers (including First, Business and Economy class) carry-on luggage was inspected by screens stationed on the jetways. |
| My seat today is the bulk-head row on the upper deck window seat. |
| Lots of leg-room to stretch out, the benefit of the bulk-head seat is that your feet are not inside a foot-well underneath the seat in front of you. My second choice is probably the exit row, althought I found the seat there a little too exposed. With these slanted flat seat design, for most rows, the feet of the passengers are actually inside the foot-well located underneath the seat in front of you. Since I normally wear my shoes during the entire flight, I often bump my shoes against the foot-well and wake up. The bulk-head or exit row does not have this forward foot-well and is my preferrred choice. |
